Pierrot Square 350mA Emergency Kit 4000K Cool White 1W

The Pierrot Square Emergency Kit is a 1W low level light with a Distributed Power Supply Unit and Wise Converter.

The Distributed Power Supply Unit provides maintained operation of 12 x 3W LED light pods and drivers or 20 x 1W light pods and drivers with a 3hour duration emergency lighting back-up.

Please note: We would recommend that a maximum of 18 Pierrot Square 1W fittings be connected to this unit.

Also included with this Emergency Pack is The Wise Converter which is a power supplier for 1W or 3W LEDs with a built in constant current regulator. Starting from a direct power supply the product allows to supply a series of 350mA d.c LEDs. One Wise Converter is required for each Pierrot Square fitting. Emergency packs are used in commercial buildings as a safety precaution to power outages, so that people will be able to find their way out of a building in the event of an emergency.

Maintained Emergency Lighting: The emergency light units are illuminated at all times using the same lamps for both normal and emergency operation. Please note maintained fittings can be wired as non-maintained.

Non-Maintained Emergency Lighting: A non maintained fitting is not illuminated until the event of power failure.

Emergency lights are traditionally fitted in corridors and near fire exits to allow safe evacuation of buildings in the event of a power outage.
