Aico Heat Alarm 240V (9V Battery Backup) White

The Aico Ei144 Heat Alarm comes with 240V AC mains power supply and replaceable Alkaline battery back-up. It is best for detecting heat build-up from large flaming fires. It is supplied with the base to facilitate quick and simple installation, combined with simple detector head removal and replacement. The base automatically connects both mains power and battery as the detector head slides on. The Ei144RC Heat Alarm may operate as a standalone alarm or may be interconnected to other alarms via a wired or wireless system. For a wireless system each alarm must be fitted with an Ei168RC base.

When interconnected all alarms in the system will sound if a fire is detected. The alarm is fitted with a Test/ Hush button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm and system. The silence function allows the alarm/ system to be silenced in the case of a false or nuisance alarm, e.g. cooking fumes. The Ei144RC Heat Alarm is fitted with a mains ‘power on’ green LED indicator and red LED indicator for false conditions. The memory feature allows an alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified. This is useful if you have been away from the property at the time of the alarm event.
