A Electronic Neon Dimmable Convertor for neon and cold cathode lighting.
The NEOTRAN-50 and NEOTRAN-100 are high frequency
dimmable electronic convertors that will operate either Neon (red gas) or Argon (blue gas) tubes, commonly known as neon or cold cathode lighting. Both ranges are fully dimmable with all types of leading or trailing edge dimmers. They have many advantages when compared to wire wound transformers, as they are smaller, lighter and safer.
All models feature open circuit, short circuit and overload protection. The NEOTRAN-50 is available in three sizes from 1.0kV, 75mA to 3.0kV, 25mA and has a maximum input rating of 50VA. The NEOTRAN-100 is available in four sizes from 1.0kV, 150mA to 6.0kV, 25mA and has a maximum input rating of 100VA. All NEOTRANS can be dimmed smoothly for subtle control or they can be flashed or animated for a more dramatic effect.
