Aico Battery Heat Alarm Lithium Battery

The Ei603 Battery Heat Alarm is activated by heat from a fire, not smoke, which makes it ideal for kitchen installations where smoke detectors are prone to nuisance alarms. The Alarm contains a new thermistor which has a lower thermal mass enabling it to give faster alarm responses when the trigger temperature of 58°C is reached.

The Ei603 Battery Heat Alarm has a 10 year lithium battery that is non replaceable. The battery is designed to be tamper proof and maintenance free and will last for the working life of the alarm.

The Ei603 Battery Heat Alarm can be hardwire interconnected with up to 12 other Alarms and Devices. An interconnected system will enhance early detection and warning of fire.

The Ei603 Battery Heat Alarm performs a self test on its chamber sensor, battery voltage and internal circuitry every 16 seconds. Any fault condition found will be indicated by a combination of red led flashes and/or sound beeps.

The Ei603 Battery Heat Alarm is supplied with screw fixings with simple to install twist on base. The Alarm is not powered until it is twisted on the mounting base, thus avoiding battery power consumption during storage and prior to installation.
