Kozel-50 Trimless Recessed Plaster-in LED Tape Extrusion Profile Aluminium 3000mm

The Kozel-50 profile is designed for mounting in drywall. It makes a LED fixture that creates a line of light in wall and ceiling surfaces with no aluminum parts showing.

Technical

KOZEL profile can be fixed in slots made in previously fitted drywall using gypsum adhesive (GS 20 CECOL) or mounting adhesive. Before you fix the profile in drywall, you should take care to lead the power cables out. They can be led in the profile by cutting a hole in the aluminum or end cap. After the glue dries, cover aluminum collars thinly with a suitable adhesive, put the drywall mesh on, fill all and when dry, polish it in such a way that it does not affect the base edge of the profile. Finally, apply paint over the base edge of the profile.

Make sure to cover the profile while performing the above work. When you have finished, remove the working cover, mount the LEDs, solder the power wires, and finally, put on a clean cover.

Please note: The Kozel profile is not compatible with mounting springs (KMA groove springs).

• Designed for up to four 10 mm wide LED strips
• Line of light obtainable with the LIGER-50 cover and LED strips with a minimum of 120 LED/m
• The cover is evenly illuminated with four LED strips, with fewer strips shadows appear on the cover
• The KOZEL-50 profile is equipped with ZM sockets (ZM Connectors are used to connect profiles lengthwise, they are easily accessible even after mounting the profile in the ceiling)
• The groove cut out in the drywall to accommodate the profile should be 51mm - 56mm wide
• When mounted in double drywall, the profile does not interfere with the structure
