Uplighting Straight Cornice Coving Moulding LED Tape Extrusion Profile Plastic 2000mm

Medium sized, contemporary uplighting coving / cornice. The Orac C357 coving is a simplistic uplighting profile which will bring a contemporary look to a room whilst creating a subtle lighting effect when used with LED lights or lighting strips. Uplighting covings are a fantastic way of bringing undirect light to a room.

These covings conceal LED indirect light and allow the creation of subtle lighting effects. All covings will bring warmth to a room, and take away the harshness of a single central pendant light fitting. Compact LEDs are easy to install, cost little to run and have a long life whilst being environmentally friendly.

LEDs come in a variety of colour temperatures from warm white to cool white also RGBW for a full range of colour choices.

All Cornice Moulding Extrusions are lightweight and can be installed using strong glue - see below for details and download the installation guide for further information.

1. Install Cornice Moulding Extrusion using DecoFix Hydro Adhesive FDP700, no need for screws or pins.


2. One tube of DecoFix Hydro Adhesive FDP700 will fit between 3-4 two metre lengths of each extrusion.


3. Best practice on cleaning off overspill along lengths is to leave the glue in place until the following day, then with a Stanley Blade cut a small piece an simply peel off all exposed residue.


4. Failure to use DecoFix Extra Adhesive FX210 as a joint adhesive will result in shrinkage, and light coming through joints.


5. Use DecoFix Extra Adhesive FX210 on all butt and mitre joints.


6. Leaving excess DecoFix Extra Adhesive FX210 for an hour before wiping of the overspill (removal before that time may result in gaps with light shining through on joints).


7. Remove the overspill with a decorators trowel or spatula. Then wipe back with acetone or Industrial wipes.


8. Do not use fingers as the glue can leave a black stain on skin.

All products have a matte primed surface, they are ready to paint. We advise to use water-based paint, and in case another type of finishing is used, we recommend prior testing. We are not responsible for the result after manipulation.
