The Contract Fire Shower 240V downlight does not require a firehood and is fire rated for up to 90 minutes. The rating of IP65 makes this fitting also ideal for use near showers, baths or other wet areas.
These fire rated downlights have many features such as a centralisation ring to ensure a uniform air gap between the body of the fixture and the plasterboard, as well as a suction cup for easy lamp removal.
This fitting does not require a transformer, simply wire to mains supply.
