The Contract Fire Shower 12V downlight does not require a firehood and is fire rated for up to 90 minutes. The rating of IP65 makes this fitting also ideal for use near showers, baths or other wet areas.
These fire rated downlights have many features such as a centralisation ring to ensure a uniform air gap between the body of the fixture and the plasterboard, as well as a suction cup for easy lamp removal.
A transformer is required to connect this fitting to mains supply. A 50W MR16 lamp is included.
