Weathersafe Vision Twin Gang 13A Switched RCD Socket (Passive) 2 Gang Grey

The Weathersafe Vision Twin Gang 13A Switched RCD Socket (Passive) is manufactured from tough, durable thermoplastic. It is intended for use in an outdoor environment, or one in which the protection provided by the range is required. It is rated IP66, for protection against water and dust. It will need to be fitted with waterproof cable or conduit entries to maintain their IP rating once installed. This unit combines two outdoor switch socket outlets with a non-latching RCD. The contacts break when power supply is temporarily lost, a "safety must" for applications such as power bench tools. The combined unit provides protection against fire hazard and rapid double pole disconnection that can cause electric shock for the appliance(s) and cable(s) connected to it.
