RCD Double Non-Latching Socket 2 Gang White

The RCD Double Non-Latching Socket acts as a RCD circuit breaker whilst also providing a double switched socket outlet. The contacts break when power supply is temporarily lost. This RCD socket outlet series is designed to mount on either a BS 4662 recessed double box or a BS 5733 surface mount double box (plastic versions only). It is non-latching. If set, it allows the contacts to open if the mains supply is interrupted - a "safety must" for applications such as power bench tools. The RCD unit complies fully with BS 7288 and the socket outlets to BS 1363. The combined unit provides protection against fire hazard and rapid double pole disconnection that can cause electric shock for the appliance(s) and cable(s) connected to it.
