Pinocchio Polished Chrome 6500K Daylight

The Pinocchio is a high power Cree LED downlight that provides a decorative starry light ideal for location in bars, clubs, shops and as a feature in the home. Ideal as a replacement for standard halogen lamp downlights which generally consume more power and produce more heat. Complies with part L building regulations. The lumen output is 510 lumens for the cool white and 380 lumens for the warm white.

The fitting is constructed from aluminium and acrylic and incorporates one 3W Cree LED. The face has a polished chrome finish. A metal heatsink is located on the back of the downlight to disperse any heat produced by the LED.

The fitting comes with a 1.7m lead which terminates at a 2 pin plug. This plugs into a 2m cable which includes the LED driver and terminates at a standard UK 3 pin plug. No other components are required, it can simply plug into a mains voltage socket. Alternatively, the cable can be cut and a separate LED driver used. The included 700mA LED driver has an efficiency rating of 85% and has the following dimensions: 107mm x 48mm x 32mm.

LED Driver Options

• LED Driver (Switching) - Use this driver for on/off control. Cannot be used for dimming.
• LED Driver (Dimming) - For use with nearly all domestic dimming lighting. Most resistive dimmers have a minimum load of 60W, therefore ensure that if this not met, a dummy load is added to the circuit, such as a mains voltage halogen fitting.
• LED Driver (1-10V) - For use with 1-10V dimmer modules or 1-10V control systems. This type of dimming does not have a minimum load.
• Wise Scene (Dimming + Wireless) - This controller can be used for both switching and dimming. Additionally, this unit can communicate via radio and external push buttons, allowing you to wirelessly control your fitting. Note that an additional 24V LED driver is required to power the Wise Scene pack.
