The Horizon Square Dolly Switch Module is a standard retractive dimming toggle switch that automatically returns to its resting position when released. Unlike a conventional dimmer switch, it does not contain a built-in dimming module. Instead, it functions as a momentary controller that sends commands to a compatible inline dimmer pack, lighting control system, or smart home controller.

When used for dimming applications, the switch provides simple and intuitive lighting control. Depending on the programming of the connected dimmer or smart home system, pressing and holding the toggle in one direction can increase light levels, while holding it in the opposite direction can decrease brightness.
